    Opened their first Pick n Pay Franchise store in Observatory, Cape Town. This was the first time that they had access to electronic data from a Point-of-Sale system through a back office system.Management information received from the back office system was not sufficient for a Franchise owner. This led to the opportunity to develop a management tool for individual store owners and Cash Magic became a reality. The format in which it was presented and the automation of Cash Out, Banking, Purchase Orders and Invoices, was revolutionary for the individual Franchise retail industry at the time.
